Activity: Hunting

01

Overview

Hunting is a way for your character to earn extra experience points (XP) and specific loot for your characters by hunting the creatures of Hvalla.

What is Hunting?

  • Hunting is defined as chasing and killing creatures for food and materials.
  • Hunting can be undertaken in groups or individually.
  • Hunting has direct consequences on a character's health and capabilities, so it is not for the faint of heart.

Submission Requirements

  • All characters and prey must be at least 75% visible in order to be counted.
  • Prey must correspond with the chosen zone being hunted in.
  • You may only submit art for activities at this time. Literature/roleplay is not accepted.
  • You can submit a maximum of one hunt every 24 hours per character.

You can find the entirety of our hunting rules on the journal provided here. Always refer to the rules and guidelines provided in the current hunting journal before preparing your hunting submission.

Predators and Prey

Predators: Huntable creatures that are larger and more aggressive. There is one main predator per zone which is huntable.

Prey: Huntable creatures that are less aggressive. There are three main prey animals per zone, two of which are huntable at a time.

You can only hunt the designated creatures in a zone. If you attempt to hunt another creature that is not designated, then the roll will not be processed. Find the zone maps and their predators & prey HERE.

Locations to Hunt

Important Areas are all the available areas your warg can hunt at within each zone. It’s important to list where you’re hunting to ensure that you’re able to hunt the right creature.

You may hunt at Landmarks as part of an Important Area, as long as you only list the important area they fall in. E.g., Eastern Ley-Well. If you do not list the important area in your hunting form that a landmark belongs to, then it will not be processed.

How to Participate

In order to participate in an activity, your character must have an account and have been uploaded to the group.

Use this journal to submit your character’s exploration entries. Once you have filled out the appropriate form, the team will then roll to determine what loot your character earns.
